cristina colissimo - writer / producer
Cristina Colissimo is a filmmaker, screenwriter, entrepreneur and creative visualist who doesn't so much think outside the box as she thinks as if there were no box. She is currently developing a 3-D multimedia experiential entertainment venue, and is producing The Accidental Environmentalist, directed by three-time Academy Award winning director, Mark Jonathan Harris.
Cristina most recently produced and co-wrote the award winning and critically acclaimed feature documentary One Lucky Elephant, a ten-year endeavor to bring to light the unintended consequences of keeping wild animals in captivity. She is also the co-founder and President of Ahali Elephants, a non-profit she began originally to provide for one very lucky elephant named Flora.
Her most recent screenplay, Modern English, is being produced by Jordana Glick-Franzheim and Nan Morales (Extraordinary Measures, Freedom Writers). Other projects in development include an adaptation of the memoir WHERE WAR LIVES: A Journey Into the Heart of War by Pulitzer Prize winner Paul Watson; a feature film based on the
book Gertrude Bell: Queen of the Desert, Shaper of Nations by Georgina Howell; and a romance-empowerment reality series based on the New York Times best selling book The Surrendered Single.

Angeles.
